My wife Andrea and I went out and walked around our neighborhood a bit before the big part of the storm comes later today. We’re safe and prepared and praying that everyone we know in the path of the storm stays safe as well!

Category Archives: Personal When my friend Will was in town from Portland, we went out and did some late-night long-exposure shooting down near the Brooklyn Bridge. There’s something really relaxing about night photography. It’s very old-school, as you have to put the camera on a tripod, take your time setting up the shot, and you often don’t know…  One of the biggest advantages of living in New York is having so many friends around! Between the two of us, Andrea and I know more people in this city than anyplace else on Earth. This is Andrew, a good friend whom I’ve known for many years. We met at Interlochen where we were summer…  Friday evenings are free at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. Andrea and I took advantage, and spent a good chunk of time in the photography exhibit.  My wife Andrea and I moved to New York City a few weeks ago, and we feel totally blessed by the neighborhood that we now call home. We live in the upper-most area of Manhattan, Inwood, which is home to many parks, The Cloisters, and lots of little mom-and-pop stores and restaurants that we’ve already… |
