I’m so excited to share these photos on the blog! Caroline and Patrick decided to have a very small, intimate wedding ceremony at City Hall here in NYC. It was such a huge honor to be a big part of their day — from the first look, to the trip to City Hall, and having the immense honor and responsibility for being the witness to their vows. It’s days like this where I really pinch myself and say “wow, I really do love my job.”
These two were so incredibly in-love with each other, it was a total treat to get to hang out with them all morning. Caroline made her own bouquet and boutonniere for Patrick, they exchanged gifts on the roof of their Flatiron District apartment, and Patrick surprised Caroline with a street performer to celebrate their first dance together right on the street. And as if that wasn’t enough, the line at City Hall was unusually speedy (especially for a Friday) — so we had enough time (before they had to head to JFK to catch a flight to Mexico!) to do some amazing photos up on the Brooklyn Bridge in the middle of the pouring rain. These two were down for anything!
Enjoy these photos, some of my favorites of 2014 already. And congrats, you two!
